In Mexico City’s Cumbres del Ajusco National Park, Valero Energy volunteers joined Fondo Unido to restore land devastated by a 2019 forest fire that destroyed more than 90 hectares.
With a brigade of 30 Valero volunteers, including employees and their families, the team planted 500 native trees across nearly one hectare at El Tepozán Park. This hands-on reforestation effort reflects Valero’s commitment to environmental stewardship, community partnership, and sustainable impact.
