Kinari Webb, MD is an award-winning rainforest regeneration advocate, social entrepreneur, and physician. On 27th October, Kinari joined a powerful TreeSisters panel discussion. The panel included Diana Beresford Kroeger (Botanist and author), Osprey Orielle Lake (WECAN), Pat McCabe (Women Stands Shining), Jayn Sterland (MD Weleda, UK & Ireland) and was hosted by Clare Dubois (Founder of TreeSisters).

In this video clip Kinari talks about understanding how interconnected we all are in terms of deforestation. She describes hearing trees falling and having a judgement on the loggers. She says “Then I got to know them. They had no choice, they were paying for basic needs, mainly healthcare. They love the forest and didn’t want to hurt it. It’s important to recognise they had no choice because of a long history of colonisation.”
