Reflective Rolodex Week 43
This week, something caught me off guard in a moment of unexpected joy that reminded me how life can surprise us and humble us when we aren't looking for it.
In the art portion, I start with paint splotches using droppers, then experiment with sea salt for texture… which doesn’t quite work out. But I keep going, add some Halloween doodles, and finish with a sentiment that ties it all together. It’s a reminder that the “ugly stage” is part of the process—and sometimes, what emerges is better than what we planned.
