In the face of the possibility of global annihilation, from humanity’s knowingly committing #Ecocide, three brilliant, ingenious thinker/activists make their way through a maze of social and psychological strategies to find wisdom seeping through the cracks in our civilization. Strangely enough, this brings us back to our roots as human beings.
COVID has brought a new awareness that businesses can close, cities can shut down, and ‘surprise!’ we can still go on. We now see that the essential people in our society are the ones who serve, the #Essentialworkers, rather than the ones who "lead".
These last couple of centuries may have been a blast, for the developed nations of the world at least. But now the excesses of #Consumerism and general complacency are driving civilization over the cliff. In an economic reality where only 26 people own more than 50% of global assets, how can a system so out of balance recover its equilibrium?
Multinational corporations may hold more power than governments, but it's part of that multinational #CorporateMatrix to *make us believe we are its pawns*. A belief system can change in the blink-of-an-eye or a simple leap of faith, when we collectively refuse to play the game, leave our old expectations behind, and realize that we can effectively create change through action.
