Removing old logging roads is an important part of Redwoods Rising, the League's partnership with California State Parks and the National Park Service to restore more than 70,000 acres of redwood forest in Northern California. Decaying logging roads fragment the landscape, and dump tons of silt and debris into rivers and streams, choking off vital habitat for endangered salmon.

Restoring this forest to its former glory is a BIG IDEA, but Redwoods Rising is making it happen. Learn more here: savetheredwoods.org/project/redwoods-rising
