Innovative packaging can make food last longer—and that can help to reduce food waste. You might be surprised at some of the food waste solutions that are emerging from new research and technology.

Dr. Anubhav Pratap-Singh, Director of the Food and Beverage Innovation Centre at UBC, looks at biodegradable packaging made from things like pumice waste from juice production. He shows how we can reduce food waste by bringing it back into the circular economy.
