Reduce watering your lawn with hydretain! This product has been proven to reduce watering by up to 50% by pulling moisture from the soil and within the air to form water droplets on the roots of the grass plant. In this application, I'm using the hose end sprayer bottle that covers up to 5,000 square feet. But you can also get this product in granular form as well as larger liquid quantities that you can use in your own hose end sprayer.
Summer temperatures and humidity are right around the corner and now is the perfect time to apply a moisture manager product like Hydretain to help reduce the watering requirements of your lawn.
I also had the opportunity to speak with Jim Spindler who is one of the owners of Ecologel (the makers of Hydretain). He was on the Keep Off The Grass Livecast and spoke in more detail about how hydretain was created and the research that has been done to prove its ability to reduce watering by up to 50%.
