Redstone blocks do not disrupt the path of redstone lines, although they do stop light... so are they translucent? Or is this just one of those redstone bugs? :P

A response to Xisumas redesign of Sokars Stairs in Staircase design.
I compacted it down to 1/3 of its size with dimensions of 8x4x3 and a volume of 96 blocks. Xisumas dimensions are 8x6x6 with a volume of 288 blocks.
