The Made for Change challenge was created for the finalists of the Redress Design Award 2019 to learn about the VF Corporation’s sustainability story at their headquarters in Hong Kong, where each of them teamed up with another finalist and were asked to improve the circularity of an existing high impact VF product by proposing a new product plan. The designers heard from VF’s experts in responsible sourcing and material innovation, and then took part in an interactive end-to-end business process together with experts in design and product development, environmental and sustainable materials, merchandising, supply chain, sales and marketing.
