Don't start over! Redefine instead!

In today’s video, I’m taking a rough draft colored pencil sketch and redefining it into something stronger, more intentional, and more refined. Instead of starting from scratch, I’m using the first draft as a foundation and walking you through the exact changes I make, why I make them, and how I decide what’s working (and what isn’t).

We’ll talk about:
• identifying weak areas in a sketch or painting
• refining composition, color, and contrast
• preserving the looseness while improving structure
• knowing what to keep and what to rework
• why first drafts are such an important part of the creative process
