This is Redd Kross (then Red Cross)'s first recording session, recorded Sept (Or Oct) 1979 with Joe Nolte from The Last producing. These recordings were rejected by their record label Posh Boy and most of the songs were rerecorded and released as the Red Cross EP/Annette's Got The Hits EP in 1980. Most of the first recording session never saw the light of day until recently, with the release of the 40th Anniversary Edition of the Red Cross EP.
Also included is a live track, "Fun With Connie", recorded at the infamous Church squat when they were called The Tourists. "Fun With Connie" later turned into "I Just Want Some Skank" by the Circle Jerks.
