So I decided to make another Scratch MIDI Player that is faster than the one I used for the Tau Legit run.

Pardon my old Geometry Dash Account I made back in 2015 if I remember correctly? I dont really play as much as I used to since finals are coming closer than ever, haha! That being said, the gameplay footage is all done by me. I used Auto because I dont know how to beat the actual level without spending an additional year just for background footage lol

This MIDI was supposed to be uploaded on the 14th of February... but I was too busy with university so it got delayed by more than a week...
Somehow, I was able to make this MIDI in under a month, originally. The project started on 24th Jan and I was able to finish it by 18th of this month. However, the editing procedure took longer because I had other priorities to do.
I am sorry for always being late somehow, and thus could be why this video was rushed. I tried to make the audio of this MIDI sound as good as it does to my ears and the arts were due to them placed randomly as this is an art experiment.
Dont mind the randomly flickering background or any weird illusions in this video. This video could be considred an editing experiment and I hope you enjoy this video, and Happy Belated Valentines / Singles Day!
Also I blame the delay on my mouse... kept on double clicking and triggering Domino crashes... smh

Note: The original MIDI pitch is 2 semitones higher than the task song in order for the funnel sounds to align with the MIDI. So, I split the MIDI in half and transposed down by 2 semitones whilst the other half containing the funnels was untouched and its pitch was edited using audacity. I hope this doesnt ruin the experience!

Im still alive guys! Sorry for my prolonged inactivity... School is getting in the way and it is much more difficult to allocate time for making black MIDIs. Needless to say, I am uncertain if Ill be able to make a black MIDI before 2021, but still, I hope you enjoy it!
This is also my first time using only Shotcut for editing videos natively. As such, I had a bit of difficulty editing since I usually use Adobe Premiere Pro. Apologies for the video glitches in the video... I have no idea why the piano roll shrinks/grows beyond its keyframe... Anyways, I hope you enjoy Lost, my short black MIDI.
Lost - Story
A person wanders into a forest and went too deep, and discovered that they became lost.
They tried to find ways to retrace their steps and attempted to find their way back...
...but, alas... they couldnt find their way... they began to be sorrowed with the idea that theyll never return and become lost in the deep, dark, forest.
They try, once again, to leave the deep and dark forest, but alas their efforts were futile.
They gave up trying to leave, they made their mistake, and they will have to pay the price.
Seconds turned into hours and hours turned into days... with little hope of redemption, the person thinks there is only one way to escape...
This MIDI was initially named Broken, but it didnt really fit well with the composition, as it denotes attempting to run away from a situation or attempting to escape, so I decided to choose Lost, since its a more fitting name, and the end composition denotes the feeling of being lost with no hope of return.
Fun fact: This MIDI only has 8 tracks, with 2 unused tracks. This brings a total to 10 tracks. This is the lightest MIDI Ive made in terms of track count.

Originally intended for Valentines Day 2020, progress has been delayed for about a month. I started working on this right after I finished MMXX, needless to say, I want to say thank you for your support. MMXX has now become my best creation ever, and I hope to continue doing things like these.
Fallen takes a dark turn to all the MIDIs Ive made in the past. Its alternate name is Descended, so it can be considered a sequel to Ascended.
In this MIDI, I took inspiration from not only MMXX, but other great blackers especially HDSQ and his Tau. I like Tau because it shifts to different time signatures, which is highly apparent in Fallen. Also in Fallen, theres a 5/4 part. Its an experiment and I hope you enjoy it.
