Well, this is the first non-video game related clip since this account exists. But for the sake of the "most funky creatures on earth", I will share what I kept on my disk for a couple of months.

The "Naturpark Höllohe" is a nice place to go to. There is a lake and around it, you can find a range of animals, ranging from Guinea pigs and rabbits over to wild boars, raccoons, deers, geese, peacocks, a bunch of different kinds of fishes, storks and goats. It's probably comparable to a kind of zoo, just with more focus on a park and relaxing instead of commerce.. Actually, you are not charged a single cent. There is a staff preparing meals for all these animals and cleaning their enclosures, but mostly funded by the state or by donations. Not to forget about a small snack bar which seem to generate a notable income.

When we arrived and parked the car, a couple of apparently young squirrels just ran in circles and followed us all the way into the actual park. They were running back into the bushes, up to trees and down again, vanished and re-appeared a minute later. They seem to be used to humans, however they were pretty shy. One move and *zap* - they are gone.

There is a female (you can see it when she's on the tree showing her cream-colored underparts), the other is probably male. I heard, May is a part of the mating season.

Normally, I take photos and videos from buildings and urban areas and had quite trouble to get a steady image of those two fellows.. I had to change the telephoto lens with a zoom lens, and with that, I caught them on tape even 50 meters away, granting more steady pictures because they felt safe and didn't dash around.

Almost any consumer reflex camera comes with a fixed focus video system. This means, if those squirrels come closer (or back up too far) they will become out of focus and blurry. This is the reason why there are so many cuts. But the adjusting was worth it. After all, 2:40 minutes of squirrel-action could be saved (while trashing 1 minute of junk).
