This video was put together over the course of three days shooting along the 13 mile long scenic drive through the Conservation Area. The take off locations where Calico I & II, High Point Overlook and Pine Creek Canyon. We were fortunate to have clouds present during most of our flights. Normally in the high desert altitudes, the clouds evaporate before they cross the Spring Mountains and Red Rock. If you spend more than a couple of days in Las Vegas, rent a car and take the 15 mile drive to Red Rock Canyon, it is well worth the visit.
Technical Info: DJI Mavic 2 Pro in DLog-M, h.265 in Manual mode f/4-f/8 1/60th second at 100 ISO with an ND16/PL filter, color graded in Adobe Premiere Pro. All flights conducted at altitudes greater than 400 feet AGL were done under FAA Part 107.51 guidelines by keeping the UAS within a 400 foot radius of a structure and did not fly higher than 400 feet above the structure’s immediate uppermost limits.
