Are you ready for the mulchening? Our red river hogs sure are! πŸ—

The arrival of fresh mulch around the zoo is one of our favourite things to see in springtime, and few animals get more excited than our sounder of hogs. Full of incredible smells, this substrate is easy on the hooves and gives our Animal Care, Health & Welfare team the ability to hide food and enrichment items so our hogs can express their natural snooting around behaviours. 🐽

Come and catch a whiff yourself – it’s so mulch fun to sniff! πŸͺ΅
