‘Fight Like a Brave’ is the opening track on The Uplift Mofo Party Plan, the third album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The album was released in September 1987, with this song released as the first and only single.
This track features aggressive slap grooves and funky fingerstyle lines, making it a great example of Flea’s playing from this era of the band. Flea used a Spector NS-2 bass to record this line.
