Canyon before the wedding was egotistical and believed himself to be above everyone else (this was stated in the guide)
I feel like after the massacre wedding Canyon and Scarlet had,Canyon became more frightened and submissive as the book described him to be “pale and shell shocked rather than your average happy groom”
He spent those 12 years fearing scarlet,Had eggs with her,then one day he acted overconfident.Probably bragged to some dragon or criticized Scarlet and she overheard.
Scarlet remembered his existence then threw him in the arena for her own enjoyment..
Both Canyon and Tailwind don’t have wiki designs these designs are also head canon i guess
