With hundreds missing after a huge wall of mud and rock collapsed into a river on the border of Nepal and China, triggering catastrophic flooding on the Nepali side, the Red Cross is helping co-ordinate disaster rescue and relief efforts.

Director of Disaster and Crisis Management, Nepal Red Cross Society, in Kathmandu, Sagar Shrestha, told CGTN the disaster felt unprecedented.
