I collect the Bianco 9 Shine without pressing the A button, using only the Hover Nozzle.
Since I need the Hover Nozzle to save A presses inside the secret area anyway, I can also use it outside to navigate the stage faster than in my hoverless videos. Inside the secret area, the biggest challenge (besides pressing the red switch) is to get the coins on time, as the platforms at the beginning each require hovering for a few seconds and slowly getting up the ledge.

I collect the 100 coin Shine for Delfino Plaza without using the A button, F.L.U.D.D., or Yoshi.

Collecting the actual Shine was always the main issue, since it’s always possible to collect any number of coins, enter a secret stage, exit area, and repeat until the Shine spawns.
As it turns out, the flooded plaza has a different spawn location for the 100 coin Shine than any other version of the plaza: instead of spawning on a remote platform in the middle of the sea, it spawns above the Pianta statue.
Not a whole lot better, unless you know about framewalking: by holding the stick in a direction and releasing it the next frame, Mario can walk up slopes that he would normally slide off of. We can use that to walk up the statue’s cape and reach the Shine.
But there’s another catch: during the flood, the statue’s cape doesn’t actually reach under water, so we can’t swim onto it or ledgegrab it. The only other way is to triple bounce-dive off of Piantas sitting on the nearest roof, but that puts you in a sliding state where you can’t framewalk.
This is where I stopped a few months ago, but I recently realized that all it took was sliding off and back onto the cape to cancel the dive. Derp. Anyway, since most of the coins in the flooded plaza require water to spawn, our options are pretty limited and we were only able to get two coins, meaning the full version of this would take 50 trips in and out of the plaza, and about an hour and a half.

I collect the 22nd blue coin in Ricco Harbor without pressing the A button, using only Yoshi. This relies on the beginning of the Ricco 8 strat to get to Yoshi 0x and FLUDDless: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjHvF_v8O2Q
This blue coin was listed as requiring the Rocket Nozzle on the ABC spreadsheet, until today, when Grégoire pointed out that we could just infinite ground pound to it. On its own, this doesn’t save an A press since we still need the rocket in Ricco 4 reds, but there might be something to do about that too.
The infinite ground pound is pretty bad for horizontal movement, since each repetition only lets Yoshi move for one frame, between the two L presses needed to make Mario ground pound back onto Yoshi and Yoshi ground pound in turn. The best option during that frame is to move sideways, since the stick directly affects sideways speed, whereas it only controls forward/backward acceleration. But we still don’t get very far.

I collect the 100 coin Shine for Gelato Beach without pressing the A button or using F.L.U.D.D. at all.
Getting the coins in the trees at the beginning without the Hover Nozzle was pretty hard. The only thing that could go wrong in the Sand Cabana was to get the blue coin (which would have required a save, thus an A press). Then it was just about getting coins from the watermelons and Cataquacks.

I collect the Pinna 4 Shine without pressing the A button, using only the Spray Nozzle.
Jumping isn’t really necessary for this Shine, as you can kill the Snooze-A-Koopas by ground pounding next to them. However, not being able to spam-spray really slows down the process of waking them, and makes it hard to get several of them at once.

I collect the Pianta 8 Shine without pressing the A button, using only the Spray and Hover Nozzles. This is an improvement over my previous strat, which took 40 seconds longer and only worked on the Japanese version of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18mVO8MnZPc
That previous strat involved a glitch discovered by Frog7ribbit, that allows Mario to reset his state by attempting to grab a floating fruit. This meant that the strat could only work on the Japanese version, since the floating fruit glitch was fixed in international releases. However, the fruit doesn’t have to be floating for this glitch to work; it simply has to be in mid-air. In fact, you can even trigger this effect with any fruit hanging in a tree!
So I put a banana on a giant leaf over the void, drop into the underside to grab the coin, hover under the leaf as the banana slides off of it, dive into the banana to reset my state, and hover up onto the bridge. It’s important to pick a banana there, as any other fruit would just roll off the leaf instantly, and I couldn’t just put it onto the bridge because the bridge becomes intangible when Mario’s too far away. The rest is roughly the same, I only swapped the order of the coin inside the crates and the one under the fruit tree to save a few seconds.

I collect the 3rd blue coin in Delfino Plaza without pressing the A button, using only the Spray and Hover Nozzles, as well as Yoshi.
We’ve been looking for ways to get the sewers blue coins without saveboxes for a while, mostly thinking about storing upward speed on the OoB floor below to launch into the coins after dying, but nothing really worked out.
But I just realized that when an OoB floor kills Mario while he’s on Yoshi, it makes him dismount, giving him quite a bit of height. Also, on the Japanese version, Mario dismounts Yoshi from a higher point than on the other versions, allowing him to grab a blue coin during his death animation to skip the savebox.
EDIT: After a bit more testing, I found that the height of the dismount is affected by horizontal speed, allowing other versions to get the blue coin by running under it. That’s pretty cool because a couple of other saves rely on fruit storage, which isn’t available on the Japanese version.
Unfortunately, one of the sewers blue coins can’t be collected this way because there is no OoB floor below it.
