Since my phone won't edit video I am starting this video after about 2 minutes of high heat on the scrap copper. I prefer using far more metal than needed to allow for big button to help push it all inside the mold. My torch is a Hoke with a drilled out tip with propane and oxygen. Casting turned out excellent and once I get more time I will follow up with finishing videos of the band. All tools and clay available at www.diycastings.com. Based on the Red Clay Casting™ method by Craig Dabler. Clay used is Red Clay.
