Yep, just something minor, a relatively easy shortcut that abuses the respawn mechanics. I call this a "casual" shortcut because only the more casual players are up to do it: I'm pretty sure that if you're good and fast enough, you can take the normal route faster. Also, this shortcut costs you all your rings and levels, so watch out for that too.
Anyway, this is my first video recorded from my Gamec- Wii with a capture card, so it's also a quality test.

I did a TAS of Aquatic Games previously, but it was speed-oriented http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvbPSFyXpAA It turned out that it wasnt THAT good of a TAS, overall. So instead, I did a Tool Assisted Superplay, aimed for providing the most entertainment possible. Comments on the run are once again in the annotations. In the paragraphs below, Ill explain how each event works. Might have some spoilers on how the video goes.

0:00 100 metre splash
Mash A and B to make James run and win the race. C jumps but costs some speed and is virtually useless.
My entertainment goal: let the Frog take a good lead, catch up with him and taunt him in the final stretch.
0:36 Kipper watching
Move with the D-Pad, jump with B and run with A to bop away all the balls that threaten to wake your friends up.
My entertainment goal: Finish as soon as possible (2 minutes, bronze) and mess with the balls along the way. Also, dont collect a single fairy fish thing nor alarm clock.
2:25 Hop, Skip and Jump
Run with A and B, jump C at the mark with C, and press C once more to set the angle of the final jump.
My entertainment goal: Use all 3 attempts to make interesting jumps.
2:56 Bonus event 1
Works like the previous event, except without hop and skip.
My entertainment goal: Not much, just make the biggest jump possible. And demonstrate a small glitch.
3:16 Bouncy Castle
Jump on the trampolines with B and perform twist (A) and somersault (C+D-Pad) combos.
My entertainment goal: Finish as fast as possible and splat on the ground once or twice.
3:53 Bonus event 2
Juggle the balls with A and C and press B to drop a new ball. Reach a certain point limit with juggles.
My entertainment goal: Juggle like crazy, I guess.
4:53 Feeding Time
Feed the fish with A, B or C, but remember to fill the bucket, by pressing the same buttons.
My entertainment goal: Try to feed some fishes before they appear, and put myself in a tight situation on purpose.
6:46 Shell Shooting
Stomp on shells and pick them up with C as they land. Throw them with C to pop the balloons.
My entertainment goal: Hit balloons with all 3 methods: shell, jumping from below, and falling from above. Also, showing off two small glitches.
7:48 Tour de Grass
Circle the D-Pad clockwise and jump over obstacles.
My entertainment goal: Collect all butterflies and jump over all crabs.
8:22 Leap Frog
Run with A and B and jump over puddles and hurdles.
My entertainment goal: Jump? Duuuh... whats that?
