Hey folks, we're just trawling through some old videos looking for ways to free up hard drive space and we came across this Loop Pedal cover of Red Alert by Basement Jaxx.
It's probably the most advanced and intricate loop cover we've ever done, but for whatever reason, nobody seemed interested when we first uploaded it. We weren't really trying too hard with the whole YouTube thing at the time, and our uploads were pretty sporadic, so that might account for it... although we shot Hooked On A Feeling on the same day and that's approaching 100,000 views, so maybe this just isn't a very well known song.
We think it's awesome, though, and despite our self-imposed rule of not wasting too much time tweaking stuff we've already 'finished', we really weren't too happy with the way it looked. We were pretty much just starting to figure out how to use Premiere and do responsible colour correcting, so the end result was pretty dreadful 🤣
Anyway we've gone in and tweaked the colour and exposure a little bit, so here it is again, and apologies to anyone who's already seen it - normal service will be resumed ASAFP.
