~To try and avoid copyright I took the original down to do some editing, and couldn't resist adding new ideas as well. But I did see/save all the comments and I really appreciate the feedback! Keep it coming. :)
Recycle what you like, Rewrite what you don't, Ruin characters and relationships along the way.
This started out as a "poke fun at OTH" project. We all know by the end of the series, some integrity had been lost with all the recycling, rewriting of history, and contradictions that came with that. The problem is I started with 9x12 , and the vid made itself from there lol. Brulian became a poster child for everything that I didn't like about the show by the end.
I know this is offensive to some, and I'm sorry. It may seem like a bitter fan wasting their time on hate. To me, it's more a form of poetic justice to see all the frustrations expressed visually for those who did feel betrayed by the show. And really, enough time has passed that it was more fun than anything to make. It makes me laugh to see the fail of comparisons between what used to be and what became. Nonetheless if you are a fan who for some reason did choose to watch, know I'm not a malicious person looking for a fight.
Idk who will even watch a full 10 minute vid, so here's a summary- I put in Julian rewriting important history in 9x12, the kind of character Brooke became in later seasons/ with Julian, Brooke's diary representing the disrespect of history (eating the pages and burning it in the fire in favor of Julian's version? Really?), recycled scenes from various OTH couples, contradictions/comparisons of Brulian vs. Brucas, etc.

Accurate video is accurate! I'm rewatching the show now, and I can't bring myself to go on and watch post-s3, since that's when it started becoming a different show for me.

THANK YOU! One tree hill just got worse and worse after season 6. So many things were wrong.Haleys sisters, the affection that Nathan showed for Clay, that he never showed for Lucas, the characters all changing i mean urgh :( The scene where Haley and Brooke talk about how Peyton never came back even though Brooke needed her and how Brooke was always there for her but never the other way around! Bull! And the fact that all these things happend and Leyton never bothered to come back.

(part 2) You did such a fabulous job on this though! Like... WOW. Completely worth the 11-ish minutes, and I still have other comparisons in my head. (e.g. julian and brooke talking about how alone she was vs. the college counselor talking to brooke and brooke arguing that she wasn't alone. she had her friends, her roomate (haley), her lucas, her peyton, her squad...) :( oh oth... what did they do to you
this made me so mad. not at you, of course, but at mark and the writers and anyone who had any role in okay-ing the season 9 storyline. actually anyone who ever okay-ed brooke and julian being so god damned phony and recycled. what's worse is they didn't even improve the scenes, they made them less poignant, less moving, less real. watching a brooke & lucas scene played and then going into theirs just... *gags* there's no connection between BJu, at least not compared to BL. *weeps* I miss my OTP

awesome. i mean the title alone was awesome. lets face it oth was recycled, rewritten and ruined in many many many many ways, brulian being and the forefront. they deserve this. and it was funny. they could have been better, they just werent.

Brulian are okay, but I still wish it would have been a Naley/Jeyton/Brucas ending! Okay now I'm done ;) OH and 10:02 made me laugh, haha!
Also, I miss season 6-cocky-charming-witty Julian. That was the better Julian. I didn't like that he became a goofy Julian that apparently has no friends except Alex, in seasons 7-9. I love that you showed all the scenes from OTH couples that are just parallels/recycled scenes! A lot of them I hadn't noticed before. And I definitely didn't notice how many of the Brulian scenes were just copied from another couple! This video kind of made me dislike Brulian a bit more, haha.
I watched the full ten minutes ;) It's okay, I'm not the kind of fan to get offended by this! I actually agree with a lot of it. I don't mind Brulian, but I always thought Brucas were way better, and I believe that Brooke never completely got over Lucas. I really didn't like the storyline of Julian turning Lucas's book into a TV show, but making it all about Brooke (and him instead of Lucas in some parts)... Ugh that bugged me. (Damn YT character limit, I have more to say...)
