You walk down the steps of the forbidden depths.
Youd heard folk tales about this place. Some say it was made at the worlds origin- a beating heart. Its beating heart. Slowly ticking. Sealed away.
How bad could it be though? The treasures down here are plentiful. Slates of knowledge that only you have been beholden to.
We can never dig too deep, you sing to yourself in the dark, blind and alone. An old miners chant, warming your heart against the cold green.
Nobody sings with you, though.

It hears you.
It agrees.
