OTHER NOTES
▶ The bulbs and the dimmer I linked to above do work together, but the bulbs have a limited dimming range.
▶ I used 6 washers, two for each nipple, one on either side of the base.
▶ I used 9 hex nuts, one each on either side of the base, and one as a jam nut to prevent the socket from turning on the nipple.
▶ I used Minwax Dark Walnut for the body of the lamp and Minwax Honey on the socket covers. Note: the stain will not penetrate the bamboo very well, which is why I used a hair dryer on it before wiping off the excess, then sprayed it with a satin lacquer.
