Hey there Creative Friends!
Well, the holidays gobbled up my time so this video is a little late. Never fear, Part 2 - When the Story Starts to Surface is finally ready!
In this video, I take the barren page and disconnected bits from the first video and start to formulate a story about a recent memory. Throughout this process I discover that shapes, lines, colors, and texture are the perfect ways to relive my experience on a recent hike. Instead of seeing just a bleak, dead nature area, I see what I believe it looked like during the summer. I imagine lots of hidden life - plants, grasses, flowers, and critters. In the end, I love how it turned out and the story it tells about nature and all the things we may not see unless we look deeper.
Where do you find hidden or dormant beauty? I'd love to hear about it!
I hope you enjoy this process. Just to let you know, I am embarking on my last semester at school. Therefore, my presence may be spotty on IG and YT. However, I am working on creating an amazing online space for us to connect, share, and create. Details will be coming closer to Summer 2024!
I'm so excited for this new adventure!

Thank you for watching!
