WLED recovery/reset
Two common paths to trouble:
1. Doing the update through the app - seems this resets to the stock WLED settings and not the QuinLED settings.
2. ESP32 dies and needs to be replaced or accidentally hit the “factory reset” button, or too much Segment information causes a crash.
How to recover from Factory Reset:
There’s more than one way. This may not be the way everyone would do it, but this will work.
1. Re-establish wifi connection - look for WLED-AP and put in your wifi info.
2. Use the new “WLED Native” app - don’t do the update
3. Check the Hardware Output settings. Make sure output pins are correct.
4. If you have Ethernet make sure the proper version is selected from the drop-down.
5. Count LEDs on each output and update the count in the settings.
6. Create segments from outputs button
7. Presets: load a file if you have one, or copy/paste from the GitHub
8. When you have it all redone, make backups and save them somewhere. Then you can just reload them if it ever happens again.
9. Join Discord and Facebook
