Years ago I had a PowerBook 180c computer that went off to 404-land. Since the older PowerBook drives were SCSI units you couldn't just slap 'em in one of those cheapie USB drive cases. Still had the drive and the innards - and more importantly a SCSI disk mode connector - so I Heath Robinsoned the whole thing together and hooked it up to the PowerBook 5300 I'd Frankencompy'd together from spares.
