Recovered Christian missionary Jehovahs Witness missionary life. Experience of Jehovahs Witness womens role. Recovering jehovahs witness missonary woman tells why she went to Ecuador and why she had to quit.

In this one-hour interview, Scott Homan connects with Yatri Sol, a recovering Jehovah’s Witness missionary woman, to discuss her transformative journey from Christian missionary work in Ecuador to her current role as a cosmic therapist and healer. Recorded in the high desert of Joshua Tree National Park, Scott and Yatri sit down in her van—where she offers Tarot readings at music and art festivals—to explore her life as a Christian missionary, her experiences with Christian imperialism, and her path to healing after living in a cult. Yatri, once deeply immersed in the Jehovah’s Witnesses' culture, shares her compelling “I survived a cult” story, detailing her experience with Jehovah’s Witness women’s roles and the expectations she faced.

Yatri’s new project, Yatri Sol Tribe, helps those recovering from cults and high-control groups. With over 14 years of experience and spiritual training across South America, Asia, and Africa, she offers holistic healing tools—including astrology, shamanic Reiki, and chakra balancing—to guide others on their journey of healing from a cult. As a recovered missionary herself, Yatri uses her life story to help others find peace and purpose after leaving a cult. From her early years as a Christian imperialist missionary to her transition out of the Jehovah’s Witness religion, she has redefined her identity and path, providing support to those on a similar quest for freedom and self-discovery.

Join Scott and Yatri in this ex-cult member interview as they discuss the challenges of coming out of the Jehovah’s Witness religion and the journey toward empowerment and healing after a high-control religious experience.

Amazon based former Christian missionary, Yatrisol met up with me in a rock climbing paradise in the high desert of Joshua Tree national park to discuss her original motivations to go to the Amazon of Ecuador as a cultural emperialist christian missionary.

We recorded our interview in her van where she offers tarot card readings at music and art festivals across the western USA. Impressive human and I'm honored to have checked in with her since she was twenty. We met in Ecuador when she was a young missionary.
