From 1702 to 1706, George Bingham published five collections of "Airs Anglois" or English Airs written by himself and others, all but the second volume of which are available at IMSLP through the kind offices of Hans-Tomas Müller-Schmidt (imslp.org/wiki/Category:Bingham%2C_George).
I recorded these pieces in 2018 after my recorder partner and I had played many of them in church and then "forgot" about them. While I was recently revamping my website, I "rediscovered" them and decided to make them available here.
Most of the pieces have an AABB structure, and, where the melody is not too involved, I have written variations on the repeats. Since the pages of the internet editions are not numbered, I have numbered the selections with a colon separating the book number from the number of the piece in the book.
I hope you enjoy listening to this music as much as I did playing it.
