The heart transplant team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center has had an incredible year. In the midst of the pandemic, we performed a record 29 heart transplants in 2020. At the same time, heart transplant surgeon Ezequiel Molina, MD, performed more than 100 heart transplants, which was a personal record.
