Iceland is still expecting one more eruption along Sundhnukur fissure row, probably the last one north of Grindavik. Though the leading Icelandic volcanologist Thorvaldur Thordarsson gives an estimate of 50/50 when it comes to the likelyhood of an eruption and tells if it happens it will be around March 20th! There are also signs of magma accumulation at Sveifluhals ridge as well, right next to Litlihrutur where we saw eruption in summer 2023. Latest drone footage of eruption area from monday evening March 10th, 2025. 4K resolution. Filmed by me. #Iceland #Volcano #Sundhnukur
