Coral reefs and the marine species that live among them are at risk because of climate change. We’re endeavouring to create a safe haven where coral can flourish. To do this we’ve embarked on a new project, ReCoral by Ørsted, together with colleagues from the Penghu Marine Biology Research Centre. We will take tens of thousands of coral larvae by boat to four wind turbine foundations, where we will help the coral larvae to settle. If the larvae settle and grow, it could open a sea of possibilities for coral restoration and regeneration.
