Sometimes things seem pretty bleak; hope is our longing for a world put to rights. As a way to enter into the Advent season (because, if you are familiar with the season of Advent, the first candle lit represents hope), I thought I'd offer up some books that deal thematically with hope. They're not always happy, because usually hope is what we cling to when things are dark.
Also, sorry about the lighting - filming in winter is going to be HARD!
