I recently figured out that I have been spending 4-6 hours a day on my mobile phone. At first...this was kind of annoying, but the more I thought about this and the more I observed how much I was changing - getting dumber due to lack of education and other stimulation, losing productivity, losing creativity and direction - I knew it was time to do something about this very serious social media addiction.
People are slowly realising how incredibly toxic phones are for our life, happiness and productivity, so here are some steps I figured out for myself personally that are helping me kick this addiction so I can get my life back.

The steps listed are:
1) Tell someone
2) Have an accountability buddy
3) Grayscale your screen
4) Customise your 'Moment' (or Android equivalent) app to suit your needs
5) Have a morning and night time routine
6) Find substitute activities to fill your new found tie
7) Delete the apps or put them out of sight in folders
8) Leave your phone at home once a week
Less phones = more life and awesome times.
