Sue knows that her son Aaron wants to make his own way in the world, but because she’s looked after him for 21 years, and knows the challenges he faces as a person with Down syndrome, she also sees that he still has a lot of skills he’ll need to get under his belt before he’s ready to ask his girlfriend to marry him. Sue walks Aaron through his Italian grandfather’s lasagne recipe, doing her best to accept his determination to do things his own way.
