Time to work on rebuilding the T56 transmission in my drift car! 1st, 3rd and 4th gear began giving me trouble midway through last year so I limped through the end of the drift season and pulled the LS1 this winter! To make sure the transmission rebuild gets done right, I headed down to Texas Drivetrain Performance (TDP) in Weatherford, TX.

Transmission upgrade parts include:
carbon kevlar synchro rings
front and rear seals
billet 1-2 and 3-4 keys
bronze 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and reverse shift fork pads
bronze shifter bushing
steel 3-4 shift fork
remachined mainshaft 5-6 journals
new 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th gear
new 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6 slider assemblies
