On the baseball field on Belle Isle in Detroit, generations of kids have learned the game.
But years of wear had left it in need of serious repair. In recognition and celebration of the reveal of the new F-150® Carhartt® Package, team members from Ford and Carhartt came together to refurbish and upgrade this historic field, because function means getting the job done.
A good field is a place that welcomes you. It's got a sense of pride. That's the spirit behind this renovation. Kids in Detroit deserve a place to play where the community can come together, and Belle Isle has long been that place, a spot where the whole city gathers, plays, and connects.
From new fencing and bleachers to custom dugouts, this project is more than fixing up a field. It's about making this a place for future generations, so the next wave of Detroit kids has somewhere safe and proud to call their own.
