Rebuilding Notredame after the fire that destroyed it 5 years ago.
In 2019 a fire broke out in the roof of Notre-Dame de Paris, a medieval Catholic cathedral in Paris, France. By the time the Notre-Dame fire was extinguished, the cathedral's wooden roof had collapsed. most of the wooden roof was destroyed, and the cathedral's upper walls were damaged. Extensive damage to the interior was prevented by the vaulted stone ceiling, which largely contained the burning roof as it collapsed. Many works of art and religious relics were moved to safety, but others suffered smoke damage, and some of the exterior art was damaged or destroyed. The cathedral has been undergoing repairs for 5 years. The repairs will soon be completed and Notre Dame will re-open again in 2 days.
The President of France and the United States will be attending as well as many other famous individuals.
