At the Arm Everywhere launch event in San Francisco, California, the AI accelerator startup Revellions was showcased as a key partner/customer of the new Arm AGI CPU.
In the ecosystem partner supporting quotes issued by Arm, Marshall Choy
chief business officer for Rebellions, was quoted as saying, "High-performance AI systems require tight coordination between general-purpose compute and accelerator architectures. By combining the Arm AGI CPU with Rebellions’ NPUs in new high-density server configurations — we’re delivering a scalable, energy efficient platform that is optimized for AI inference workloads at scale.”
In order to understand more about the relationship and how the NPU/CPU combination serves the performance, cost and energy requirements of at-scale inferencing, EE Times' Nitin Dahad spoke to Rebellions' Marshall Choy at the event. In this video conversation, Choy reiterates Rebellions key proposition for inferencing based on a software-first approach and open source integrations, and how the Arm AGI CPU offers a quick integration capability enabling Rebellions to get solutions to market quickly.
Choy also provides some insight into the company's markets including a key customer, SK Telecom.
