Escape Motions Speed Painting Challenge

In this watercolor I tried to duplicate traditional transparent watercolors as much as possible. There are still some differences that cannot be avoided. For example working larger than actual print size. Also the endless amount of a consistent opacity of any color used. I also used Fast Dry quite often similar to a hair dryer. Since I worked on only one layer I had to use Dry Layer often. This was to prevent losing hard edges and shapes bleeding together. I used the water and paper to blend my colors.
Working with only my original palette, a few brushes, and one layer only.
Here is what I did not do;
No Undo
No Erase
No Masking (paint around highlights only)
No Color Picker
No opaque light colors back over dark colors
I am currently setting up to video traditional painting where I will further explore the similarities and differences between digital and traditional painting. I designed two new brushes that will imitate Kleenex Tissues. Lotion free tissues work excellent in traditional to lift paint and/or water. Also used to create subtle textures in wet paint.
