Powerful blues-rock singer Rebecca Downes releases her third CD - 'More Sinner Than Saint' on 24th May 2019 via Mad Hat Records.

The album' pursues a rockier road than its acclaimed bluesy predecessor 'Believe'. The Brum-based singer tells Andy Rawll (Record Collector Magazine) about the evolution of her 'Mad Hat' sound and how the involvement of Chris Kimsey, Bill Drescher, Chris Childs, Tony Clarkin and Alan Nimmo led this to this representing the definitive album of her career. She reveals how this latest album came together, her musical background and plans for the rest of this year.

The album was mixed by Chris Childs (Thunder) and Bill Drescher (Rick Springfield & The Bangles) and reveals a more upfront rocking sound than on her acclaimed blues-oriented album 'Believe' and includes guest guitar performances by Alan Nimmo (King King) and Tony Clarkin (Magnum)
