I decided I really didn't like where the video cut off, so this is a fill in for the last few minutes of the talk.
Believe it or not, I actually am a professional philosopher. Occasionally, I give public talks on the subject. This one was at the Nammour Symposium at Sacramento State. In it, I argue that (1) reason and emotion are interconnected faculties, not antithetical as is often assumed, and (2) using an 'emotional thought experiment' I try to show that YOU do not believe in heaven. (This second half I previewed here on YouTube a few months ago.) Sadly, the last three minutes were cut off, due to the camera running out of hard drive space.
