This huge van was originally built by Ford for one purpose, TRANSIT! With a long wheel base and high roof, there's not many objects that won't fit in the back but how about the engine bay?
The factory diesel engines weren't all that exciting nor were they reliable so when the owner of this 2002 Transit wanted to keep it on the road he swapped in a 5.7L LS1 from a Holden Statesman!
Supercheap Auto wanted a wacky vehicle to be featured in their new Best Performing Oils video so a plan was hatched and Mr Zippy was born! With a rear mount G42 Turbo, a bunch of custom parts and an eye catching wrap job the van leaves The Skid Factory as a Turbo LS Ice cream van ready to tear up Lake Redline caravan park!
