So I was driving in Maple Ridge, BC Canada yesterday and all of a sudden I hear a big bang noise and then I realized a rear end accident had occurred beside me on my dash camera. The driver that had rear ended the Jeep got out of the car immediately to check on the driver they had hit. I went to the next lights and turned back around and when I got back on the highway they were already exchanging information. There was a lot of traffic and they were blocking the entrance so I couldn't really stop to give them my information. But when I got home I called ICBC and gave them my number and told them I have dash cam footage and if they ever needed a witness that they can call me. The white car that hit the Jeep had more damage than the Jeep. The white cars hood was all messed up. From what I could see none of the drivers and passengers seemed hurt.
So why do you guys think the white vehicle rear ended the Jeep? Was the driver driving distracted? Was the driver texting and driving? Only the driver know of the white car knows why they crashed into the Jeep.
So please be careful out there when driving. Always look forward and keep a safe following distance with the car in front of you.
