In the early hours of October 2013, CCTV on the Secretariat Building in Makka, Saudi Arabia picked up something highly irregular. Standing to the right of what seems to be a series of building entrances can be seen a semi transparent figure clad in a draping of white material that appears to be faceless. Al Madina Arabic Language Daily, the paper that initially published the picture, have suggested that the apparition could be a jinn. Jinns are infamous characters from Arabian and Muslim mythology; spirits who can appear in a variety of forms, both human and animal. So was this a Jinn, a trick of the light, an insect of is there a more sinister explanation?
