today was definitely more of a high protein day, not all days are like today of course, we all eat different things everyday, but if you'd like me to continue to do these every once in a while let me know! or I could switch to good ol recipe videos to get you guys inspired.

of course I want to mention that I'm not an expert when it comes to diet, this is just a realistic look into what I ate on this day. I'm not suggesting that any of you eat exactly what I do, but I hope you took something from this video - maybe it even inspired you to get creative with food and use salad dressings as a topping on toast!

BBQ CHICK PEA RECIPE:
1 can chick peas
2-3 tablespoons bbq sauce of your choosing
sriracha to taste (I like mine super spicy)
maple syrup to taste (I use 2 teaspoons or so if I had to guess)
salt and pepper to taste (I think I also add garlic powder)
a bunch of paprika
roast on silicone baking sheet or parchment paper for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees
(also try just roasting chick peas in the oven with vegetable oil and your favorite seasonings for a crunchy snack that's also good in wraps, on salads, or anything really!)

BALSAMIC BRUSSELS SPROUTS RECIPE:
1 bag brussels sprouts trimmed and cut into quarters
I just eyeball vegetable oil but I prefer it a little heavy on the oil
seasonings I use to taste: garlic powder, salt & pepper, paprika, onion powder, roasted veggie seasoning mix (I found this at Marshall's randomly)
roast on silicone baking sheet or foil at 375 for 25-30 minutes or a little extra if you want them a little crispy! just keep an eye on it
