This interactive simulator applies the real-world path of the Sun (including sunrise, sunset, solar noon etc) onto a Flat Earth Map. The purpose of this model is often misunderstood. The purpose is to show how what we see in the real-world from our observing location does not match what the Flat Earth model would predict. For example, according to the Flat Earth model, the Sun should never be in the South as seen from Union Glacier Camp and it should never circle right around, but that is what we see in the real world.
