"Real World Hero is a charity donation drive created by City of Heroes players. In our real lives we are not super-powered, but we can still be super-purposed."
An ad created in support of the REAL WORLD HERO charity event - for more information, see realworldhero.com - where the playerbase of the MMORPG "City of Heroes" raises funds for four select charities. In 2009, over $10,000 was raised for Child's Play, Donate Games, and Operation: Gratitude. This year, the RWH team has added Heifer International to the charity list. The event kicks off on November 19th, 2010, and goes through the end of the year.
The music is the stirring "Rise of the Heroes" by OminousVoice (a fantastic reversioning of the main "City of Heroes" theme), and the end shot features over a THOUSAND unique heroes and heroines!
