This video was up on Blip.TV but they took it down. So now uploading it to YouTube they keep the videos up.
It's of a time when I recorded my self with a VHS tape getting on the real Q-Link back in 1989. It's neat to see that now that Q-Link is no more.
They have it working some called Q-Link reloaded. No upload and download's on it. Only one place to post messages.
Q-Link became AOL and looks like they just deleted all the old commodore data off there servers to use it for AOL.
Uploading this because can do longer videos on YouTube. That's why it was on Blip.tv first.
I think all will like this seeing how it was.
To bad I did not talk when I did it. It was a stereo VHS recorder and I had one on the commodore and the other a mic.
So all the text you see in this video is lost because they did not save this data. There were lots of comments on download files and they were very good to have.
For the commodore 64/128 Q-link was very good back then. It has music too you could play games with like name the song in a chat room.
It be neat if was wrong and they still have all this data and brought the server back or gave it out for others to use.
